Albendazole เป็นยาฆ่าพยาธิสังเคราะห์ซึ่งอยู่ในกลุ่มอนุพันธ์ของ benzimidazole ซึ่งมีฤทธิ์ต่อต้านพยาธิหลายชนิด และในปริมาณที่สูงกว่ากับพยาธิใบไม้ตับระยะผู้ใหญ่ด้วย
ข้อบ่งชี้
การป้องกันและรักษาการติดเชื้อพยาธิในลูกวัว โค แพะ และแกะ เช่น:
พยาธิในทางเดินอาหาร : Bunostomum, Cooperia, Chabertia, Haemonchus, Nematodirus,
Oesophagostomum, Ostertagia, Strongyloides และ
ไตรโคสตรองติลัส เอสพีพี.
พยาธิปอด : Dictyocaulus viviparus และ D. filaria
พยาธิตัวตืด : Monieza spp.
พยาธิใบไม้ตับ : Fasciola hepatica สำหรับผู้ใหญ่
