Albendazole Suspension
Albendazole
A suspension solution of fine particles,When standing still, the fine particles precipitates. After shaking thoroughly, it is a uniform white or white-like suspension.
An antiparasitic drug. Albendazole has a broad-spectrum repellent effect, which is sensitive to nematodes, tapeworms and trematodes, but is not effective against schistosoma. The mechanism of its action is that it binds to β-tubulin in nematodes and prevents it from polymerizing with β-tubulin to form microtubules, thus affecting mitosis, protein assembly, energy metabolism and other cell reproductive processes in nematodes. This product not only has a strong effect on adult worms, but also has a strong effect on immature worms and larvae, and has the effect of killing eggs. Albendazole has a significantly higher affinity for nematode tubulin than mammalian tubulin and thus has little mammalian toxicity.
An anti-helminth drug. It is used for the treatment of nematodes, taeniasis and fluoriasis of livestock and poultry
